The primary goal of the educational process at the Faculty of Dentistry at the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine is to develop students’ ability to apply the online-acquired knowledge, skills, and understanding of general, professional, and practical training to address typical dental tasks in healthcare. It includes managing specific syndromes, disease symptoms, dental conditions, physiological states, and somatic diseases that require specialized patient management approaches, handling emergencies, conducting laboratory and instrumental studies, and performing medical and dental procedures.

The main components of the educational process for the Dentistry program are practical classes at the departments of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine, and clinical dental bases to master modern preventive and therapeutic-diagnostic dental technologies. The combination of modern logistics of departments, clinical bases, and professional methodological approach to teaching basic professional disciplines is a key to training and educating high-quality medical specialists.

The evaluation of the degree:

• Integrated test exam “KROK”
• Objective structured practical (clinical) exam (OSP)
• International exam of the medicine basics
• Professional English Exam. The English level of students is rated on the national scale (excellent, good, satisfactory, unsatisfactory, passed, not passed), 200-point scale, and ECTS scale (A, B, C, D, E, FX, F).

Educational Process

The educational process for the Dentistry Faculty at the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and practical understanding of oral health. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, ensuring students are well-prepared for the complexities of modern dental practice. International students begin their studies with a foundation in humanitarian, social, and biological sciences, covering essential subjects such as bioethics, medical informatics, and human anatomy. It lays the groundwork for understanding the broader context of healthcare and the human body.

As students progress through the Dentistry program, the focus shifts to professional dental subjects to provide specialized knowledge in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases. It includes training in prosthetics, oral surgery, communal dentistry, and more. Through the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine’s diverse professional cycle, students acquire the essential skills needed for a successful dental career, including the ability to manage dental diseases, perform medical and dental procedures, and handle patient care in complex situations.

A distinctive feature of the Dentistry program is its emphasis on clinical training. International students gain practical experience under the supervision of experienced dental professionals, working in treatment-prevention facilities and the university’s dental clinic. The International Academy of Ecology and Medicine’s hands-on approach is reinforced by internships and mandatory clinical evaluations, including the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for third- and fourth-year students.
