Scientific Work

An important part of the activities of scientific and pedagogical workers that provide training in online medical programs is scientific work. The International Academy of Ecology and Medicine performs ten scientific research works annually. Some parts of the research are performed in cooperating with other institutions, such as the Chuiko Institute of Surface Chemistry National Academy of Science of Ukraine, the Center of Molecular Physiology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Dmitry F. Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Chernihiv city medical center “Medicap”, and others.

The results of scientific activities form the basis for developing the content of educational programs. The methods for implementing scientific research and dissertations are regularly discussed at meetings of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine.

The research output of the Academy’s departments is reflected in 198 articles and 482 theses presented in scientific and practical forums. A total of 87 articles were published in professional journals, along with 9 monographs and 17 textbooks or manuals. One indicator of the Academy’s scientific quality is the increasing number of publications in respected publishing houses.

The professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff can take place both in Ukraine and abroad. The main components of professional growth include advanced training and internships.

Teacher Training Programs

The lecturers, teachers, and professors of the International Academy of Ecology and Medicine are able to create their own training programs that can be helpful to students, the professionals of the medical field, and teachers of other educational institutions. As a rule, the training program is approved by the Academy, published on the website, and contains information about:

• Name of the program
• Purpose of the program
• Volume (duration)
• Form (forms) of advanced training
• List of competencies to be improved/acquired (general, professional, etc.
• Type of activity (consultation, classroom, practical, independent and control measures, etc.)
• Program implementation period
• Expected learning outcomes
• The cost (if established) of education services

The Academy consistently aims to participate in medical and scientific events in Ukraine and make a unique impact by contributing to the development of the global medical industry.
